Must see local Hilo plantation museum that have historical artifacts being dropped off and unboxed as news spreads plus friendly staff that will talk story with you ...
Great collection of historical items, though cluttered & difficult to maneuver in places. The smell of the items is hard on folks with difficulty breathing. The staff are super friendly ans are happy to reminisce about anything you are interested in! Overall well done & can be done in 1.5-3 hours depending on how much you linger.
Wonderful collection of sugar plantation era items. Great preview tour to gain an understanding of the history of the era. Important part of Hawaii's heritage.
With a rich collection of artifacts relating to the multicultural and industrial history of the island, this museum provides a free, helpful tour with admission.
